About Me
I am a 3rd year college student at WGU, studying Information Technology.
The purpose of this site is to document, in a sense, my resume online. But, more importantly showcase my skills as they develop.
To introduce myself, firstly I have extensive experience in training, assessment, and troubleshooting. In my previous role, as Lead Trainer (Eligibility Team) with Texas Human and Health Services, I facilitated remote group training for new caseworkers. This role was analytical in nature due to the large volume of data tracking and problem-solving required when entering information into State systems and database. During my tenure, I automated many tasks to increase efficiency for my team including: an Excel tracker, a Python CSV cleaner to track trainees, and a Eligibility Calculator with Python for easy reference.
Secondly, and most importantly, I am a father. I love spending time with my daughter and being active in all her activities. This ranges from her volleyball games to her numerous academic events, I try to keep her as engaged as possible. She additionally loves spending time on the computer with me while I game.
When I have time to myself, I am a sports lover, with an interest in all teams in Texas (go Cowboys!). However, I find the most of my relaxation is found in gaming. Most recently, I have been enjoying Baldurs Gate 3 due to the quality of the graphics, the storyline, and the incredible amount of play-through options.
